I’m telling you I live here.
It is this static expanse that offers me the space to project the full increments onto the unfulfilled necessary in between empty increments.
It is here I create and ponder. It is here I merge the angles and elongate the lines until they resonate and reflect back to me.
It is here I capture and punctuate what my hand merely imagines to feel, when the laden machines move above me and I touch the inner gray walls.
It is here I live and sink counting every beat. I feel I want to pause and exist, undefined by a named room or corridor. It is here I float up to the blue neon light and tap into its acrid transmitted buzzing, stimulating the hairs on my modulated body, but I am unable to stop it washing over me and so struggle to find solid footing again. But then I see them. The efficient but non-interactive drawn glass fibers that carry masses of information. The information that travels through here is permanent but not biocompatible and thus it creates a liminal space of transition and high importance.
It is this space that feels scant and lacking, where I find the unburdened blank screen to speak in my own programming language and roam and flow and exercise some control.
It is this space I choose to fill with sonic undulations.
It is this space I want to interrupt.
It is the space.
